Den heliga vardagen (The Holy Everyday Life) - Art Exhibition with Opening Reception

Since the dawn of Christianity, people have sought to depict God through symbols and images. Over the past eight years, my fascination and appreciation for the icon painting (or writing) tradition has deepened. In my work, I draw significant inspiration from this ancient tradition without claiming to paint "actual" icons. With a respectful yet humorous attitude, I aim to capture some of the essence of what this tradition seeks to convey, namely God's presence in our everyday lives. My first solo exhibition will be held at Galleri Hornsgatan 96 from May 30th to June 4th, 2026.
